Solar Technology International, a solor photovoltaic panel manufacturer has announced the creation of 80 new jobs across the South West of England as it struggles to keep up with demand since the introduction of the Clean Energy Cash-Back Scheme or Feed-in tariff.
Managing director Adrian Williams said: "This year the government has launched financial incentives to encourage homeowners and business owners to fit solar panels on the roof of their properties.
"It provides a fantastic rate of return and it does save you money, which has caused the explosion of interest in solar.
"We are almost at a point where it is difficult to keep up with demand."
